AMENITIES Land Area: The villa is built on 2,500 m2 of former rice paddy, running gently down to a river. The villa size is approximately 600 m2 of buildings, the remainder given to luscious tropical gardens. Villa Description & Amenities: villa Mika is built in "pavilion style", offering 3 luxurious villas, in addition to a Main Pavilion which is the venue for entertainment. A brief description follows: |
Pavilion Salsa (entertainment): a large pavilion with vaulted wood rafters set on high columns, this area is both indoor and outdoor. It features an open air lounge and dining area, behind which are housed the TV/Music room and Bar Salon with impressive sliding windows for indoor or outdoor living. Additionally the pavilion offers a powder room. To one side it is bordered by a pond with Balinese dragon and has an infinity pool in black granite in its centre. Villa Lambada (main villa): this is a two-storey villa, with the bedroom , large dresser and indoor bathroom downstairs. Upstairs is a parquet floored lounge with ensuite bathroom, featuring shower, vanity and WC. This may be used as a 4th bedroom. Downstairs the bedroom boasts a four poster king size bed with net and sofa to lounge. The bathroom has twin vanities, shower, bath and WC. Villa Samba(river villa with pavilion): down by the river front, this villa has a king size bed with net, dresser area with fitted wardrobes, and large indoor/outdoor bathroom, featuring bath, vanity, indoor shower, WC, and, outdoor shower and private garden area. Adjoining the villa is an outdoor pavilion with terrazzo bench seat and wooden deck area in the garden. Villa Rumba (river villa): this villa is identical to Villa Salsa, with a smaller indoor/outdoor bathroom, and a wooden deck area with private garden space. All villas have air conditioning, king size beds with draped nets, TV and DVD/CD player, telephone, fitted wardrobes and comfortable furniture. Each has its own water heater and individual pump to power your shower! Floors are terrazzo as indeed are the baths. The gardens provide places to play or rest, with a broad cross-section of tropical flora and fauna from frangipani trees to coconut, palm, mango, lime as well as many colourful plants to enrich the landscape. |
